MEET TAMMY AND FAMILY

New Leadership Delivering Results for Our Community

Before having three children and devoting her time to providing them and her community with the best opportunities for success, Tammy graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and worked as a highly accomplished Office Manager and Paralegal for a law firm.

Since the birth of her first child, Tammy has dedicated her life to serving her community through volunteer work, advocacy services, and education. This passion for education led her to become a leader in the Davis PTA as a committee chair, VP and later President of the PTA. While at Davis, the Andress Family relocated to Amman, Jordan to be closer to her husband, Kiffer, while he was working in Iraq and Afghanistan supporting the U.S. mission. Tammy’s passion for education advocacy transcended international barriers and she soon became the PTO President and Volunteer Coordinator for the American Community School in Amman, Jordan. The Andress Family returned to their Marietta Home in 2012 and Tammy continued to serve her community by taking on Executive roles in the Davis PTA and then President and VP of the PTSA at Mabry Middle School.  She currently serves as the President of the PTSA at Lassiter High School after also serving in previous roles as a VP and Committee Chair for Youth Services.  Additionally, she presently serves as a VP on the East Cobb Council of PTA’s.

Tammy has enjoyed the respect of the educational community she supports and was named Volunteer of the Year at Davis Elementary (twice), Mabry Middle School and Lassiter High School, which is an honor voted on by school administration, teachers and staff.  The Mabry and Lassiter PTSA’s have also won Outstanding Local Unit and Model PTA at the State, District and Council levels while Tammy served as President.

Tammy is the Unit Marketing Specialist for Zaxby’s Sandy Plains.

Tammy’s husband, Kiffer (Auburn University, BS, Computer Engineering), is the CEO of AISG, Inc., an international business that managed high-security construction and logistics projects in Iraq and Afghanistan for the U.S. Defense & State Departments. Kiffer and his team also managed the facilities for the U.S. and host country’s militaries and provided services to ensure their safety and well-being. Kiffer is also currently consulting to Veritas Technologies and serves as the President of his neighborhood’s Homeowner Association.

Tammy is the mother of:
